ABOUT THE

AUTHOR

HARDEEPAK SINGH

Hardeepak Singh, an alumnus of Punjab University and Columbia University, began his journey in a small village in Punjab before moving to Ludhiana, where he met with a more searching academic environment. In 1976, he joined India’s premier administrative service, holding key positions in the Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Finance, and contributing to India’s road revolution. His role as a Consultant with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) took him to Colombo for five years, and his travels fostered a deep curiosity about diverse beliefs and philosophies. His interactions with the Amish in Ohio and tribes in Nagaland inspired him to explore major faiths, leading to his current work.

He also co-founded an International School in his village. His first book, 543 Faces of India, examined the demographic composition of Lok Sabha constituencies. Recently, his third book, Aphorisms for All, a collection of 500 aphorisms, has also been published.
